Trieste, Italy
Biography:
Background. There's not much to say about that. I didn't attend any art school, actually i went to a science-oriented college and later i spent some university time learning tech stuff. What was i saying again? Ah yes, photography. There was this shelf at home, with a Konika rangefinder, a minolta and a zeiss-ikon on it. My mother and grandmother's earlier cameras, later replaced by auto point&shoots. They were (and still they are, like betty boop) so sexy and appealing that the teenage me fell for them and for photography. The more i struggled on the inside, the more i found i could communicate and channel my thoughts through a camera much easyer than with words.
Later i grew (like hopefully all teenagers) and my photography grew too. Without the urge to channel my darkest moments i finally could sense the world around me and focused in telling stories through street photography and portraiture, the lens finally focusing on the outside.
Today i'm bringing you a couple of works from the early times when i was experimenting darkroom double exposures; creating them was like blending me with two of my biggest emotions: the fear of aging on one side and the animal instinct on the other.
